Have you tried Hostess donettes? No? … well don’t .. Don’t ever try. Once you do, you will be placed on a one way roller coaster of addictive sweetness tasty treatness. Mmmmmm. If you then also dip them in coffee, you will be rocketed on a yummy tummy delicious goodness delightful creaminess… I have never looked at the nutrition label on these and why should I. You can’t tell me what to do …

I got new shoes. But this time I did it right. I bought sitting shoes. Not the ones that are supposed to be comfortable for walking, but ones specifically designed to be comfortable when sitting. I just take a few steps in them to the car in the morning, then it’s really not far from the parking lot to the office. And then, I just sit for work. So, I need good sitting shoes. After work it’s the same, a brief trek to the car .. and then at home I wear slippers … I think I am wising up!

surfer

the wave crashed to shore
vigorous mist sprayed all ’round
thunder of water sounded off
as if an earthquake just struck the ground

i squinted and perceived
out of the blue pop a peculiar guise
’twas a surfer dude coming for air
after his wipeout demise

that not bothered him a bit
for he shook off his long aqueous hair
dove right back in the whirlpool
of lurking danger unaware

in succession he fought
against all of ocean’s might
he was an average surfer
but a surfer intent to fight
