This is a long post about having that to go. What do I mean by having that to go. It’s about all those people that have things to go. Whether they are talking about food, various non food products or something else, they always want it to go. They never want to have it right there. Where are they going and where are they taking it? Why can’t they take some time and have it in. Perhaps they could take some time out of their busy day and just have it there on the spot. That would enable them to try out something new. No taking it on the road. No having it on the go. Have it right there …

hmmm… that sounds like many of the stories present in the media. I shall submit that article and someone will definitely publish  it. The morning news shows will eat it up.

Everyone is pulling out their Michael Jackson records, CDs, 8 tracks, mp3s and other music formats and playing them. Time to reflect and a nostalgic time. Probably one of the most nostalgic days in music history is today!

Some company would hire me and I would scribble for them. I do make high quality scribbles, rest assured. That’s not a bad profession. Respectable in any case.

That’s my current reality. Spending my life constantly upgrading something. Oh well. What can I do. I wake up in the morning and upgrade, then after lunch I see that there are more upgrades required. OK whatever. Then the same next day and the next weekend. I am not even talking about upgrading my friends’ or family members’ computers, this is my poopoo. They all need upgrading too. Sometimes the upgrades do not go all that well. That usually sucks big time. The software vendor usually has some explanation for that which is usually “upgrade your drivers, upgrade to the latest OS, blah, did you upgrade?”. I did upgrade and that’s what caused the failure. It’s even worse if you let the upgrades go automatically. Then your system is screwed up even without you knowing it. “Hey this is your system, I have been upgraded, everything is fine and dandy … cough cough … clunk … Hey why don’t you reboot me to see if this cough goes away .. and check manually if new upgrades are available” …  I think that even my coffee maker has some new firmware upgrade available. Gotta check the forums to see which firmware to use for my coffee maker. Oh, here it is “for the 2006 model, black with a silver base, model AA, glass carafe with metal top, S/N 234iu234u, mfd in India (Southern India): new firmware upgrade is available, use at your own risk since it has caused issues in some customer scenarios” … now I’ll spend the next day or two contemplating this upgrade (without any additional data for analysis) and then make a hasty decision to upgrade without backing up anything … I think I have upgrade anxiety …

ABC and DEF are discussing the directions to GEF’s house:

ABC: It’s right where there’s that cute little coffee place on the corner, just down the street

DEF: Yeah, where the flower shop used to be.

ABC: Right. It’s the second left when you get off the freeway

DEF: Yeah. Or you could go to the third left and then around the nursery there.

ABC: I know I took that route several times. GEF mentioned that there are several nice craftsman houses next to his.

DEF: His house is the fourth or fifth on his street. There is a tall tree or something right there.

ABC: IT’s the fifth house I am pretty sure. Their mailbox is blue and red.

DEF: Cool. See you there.

ABC: See you there.

…. or they could have just looked at the address …. but nooooooooooooo
